Project Overview
The manufacturing facility was designed for the production of advanced agricultural biostimulants that improve crop growth, flowering, fruit development, and overall yield. The plant comprised two major production sections:
The products were intended for foliar spray, fertigation, drip irrigation, and soil application across a wide range of agricultural crops including cereals, pulses, vegetables, fruits, cotton, sugarcane, tea, coffee, and horticultural plantations.
Product Manufacturing Process
It is a protein-based agricultural biostimulant manufactured by controlled hydrolysis of natural protein sources using enzymatic and bacterial fermentation technologies. The process generates free amino acids, peptides, enzymes, vitamins, and naturally occurring plant growth-promoting compounds.
Raw Material Preparation
Selected protein-rich raw materials of vegetable or biological origin are received and subjected to quality inspection. The materials are cleaned, screened, and prepared for hydrolysis. Process water is treated through filtration and purification systems before use.
Enzymatic Hydrolysis
The prepared protein slurry is transferred into stainless steel enzymatic reactors where selected protease enzymes are added. Operating conditions are maintained under controlled temperature, pH, and agitation to obtain maximum conversion of proteins into amino acids and bioactive peptides. This stage determines the overall quality and biological effectiveness of the final product.
Bacterial Hydrolysis / Fermentation
Specific beneficial bacterial cultures are introduced into fermentation vessels. The microorganisms further digest protein molecules and generate additional amino acids, vitamins, enzymes, growth promoters, and organic metabolites beneficial for plant growth.
Filtration and Clarification
The fermented broth is filtered using pressure filters or centrifuges to remove insoluble matter. The clarified solution contains soluble amino acids, peptides, enzymes, micronutrients, and bioactive compounds.
Standardization
The clarified concentrate is standardized by adjusting amino acid concentration, protein content, pH, viscosity, micronutrient levels, preservatives, and stabilizers. Batch-to-batch consistency is maintained through laboratory analysis.
Liquid Formulation
For liquid products, the concentrate is transferred to blending vessels where required nutrients, trace elements, surfactants, stabilizers, and preservatives are added. The solution is mixed under controlled agitation until a homogeneous formulation is achieved.
Granule/Powder Manufacturing
For soil application products, the concentrate is blended with suitable mineral carriers or organic granule bases. Granulation is carried out using rotary drum granulators or pan granulators. The granules are dried, cooled, screened, and packed into bags. Powder formulations are blended, sieved, and packed using automatic packaging systems.
